Industry practitioners signal their confidence in the southern deals market with launch of Quercus Corporate Finance to target mid-market corporates

Nick Standen, Adrian Dray and Amanda Hall today formally launch Quercus Corporate Finance, an M&A boutique exclusively focused on advising mid-market companies across the south of England.

The team previously spent 18 years working together within KPMG’s advisory business across the region and have over 60 years combined experience of doing deals with owner managers, corporates and private equity investors.  Their track record boasts over 200 successful transactions.

Commenting on the launch, Adrian Dray said:

“A number of advisory firms have abandoned the entrepreneur and the mid–market arena which means they have abandoned the southern region.  Quercus will redress the advisory deficit that mid-market businesses of the south are seeing.  We offer our clients a unique proposition; a partner led and partner executed advisory service built on extensive and unparalleled Big 4 experience.”

Nick Standen, who assumes the role of Quercus chairman, added:

“We have ambitious plans for what Quercus can achieve as the economy continues to recover and we are keen to strengthen the team in the months ahead.  We have already been approached by other like-minded individuals who share our exciting vision and I am confident that we will be announcing a fourth partner very shortly.”
