Blue Bear is a world-leading provider of AI-enabled autonomous swarm systems for complex defence and security applications. Based in Bedford (UK), Blue Bear employs 65 employees with a turnover of £8 million in 2022.

The acquisition is part of Saab’s continued international growth journey across key markets, which include the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States and Germany.

The combination of Saab’s world-leading products, services and solutions, and Blue Bear’s experience as an agile integrator of AI-enabled autonomous swarm systems will be a powerful driver of Saab’s future capabilities. Blue Bear will contribute to Saab’s existing activities worldwide and Saab will benefit from Blue Bear’s expertise in autonomy and swarming, as well as command and control systems.

Within Saab, Blue Bear will be a centre for Rapid Concept Development providing expertise and scaling-up innovation.

Intelligentgolf is the market leading provider of cloud-based software services to the UK golf industry. With over 500 customers worldwide, the platform is used to provide tournament management, handicapping, membership, tee time management website and electronic point of sale systems to golf clubs and organisations throughout the UK and beyond.

The deal represents the tenth company to join ClearCourse since its foundation in October 2018.

Intelligentgolf is the first acquisition ClearCourse has made in the sports & leisure sector and is an important milestone, expanding its offering into a new market and enabling its existing companies to offer their solutions to new end users.

Cecile Park Publishing Limitd (trading as DataGuidance) is an in-depth and up-to-date privacy and security research platform.

OneTrust offers a dedicated privacy management technology platform used by more than 2,500 customers to implement their privacy, security and third-party risk programs, automatically generating the specific record keeping needed to demonstrate compliance with privacy regulations including GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Brazil LGPD.

The deal will enable DataGuidance to access additional expertise in the provision of privacy management solutions, and accelerate sales growth and geographic expansion.

ImpulseLogic’s pioneering solutions suite for the retail sector, Dynamic Store Merchandising (“DSM”), automaticaly applies advanced store inventory management to optimise gross margin return on inventory performance across all products within all stores, with particular emphasis on the recovery of losses in perishable products.

ImpulseLogic is headquartered in Reading with offices in San Ramon, California.

AES, based in Nottingham, provides a comprehensive parts support service to both the OEM and maintenance markets. It primarily supports end of service life mid-range and mainframe enterprise systems, such as computer servers and data centres.
